Not a day goes by that my music isn't being played on TV

What’s up, my name is Nathan but some of you may know me as XcaliberZero. 

I landed my first placement in 2016. Coming off of a somewhat failed journey selling beats online, it was nice to finally get some acknowledgment for my music. 

Even though I was more excited about flexing my credits on MTV, HBO, and other big networks, that first royalty check from BMI motivated me to double down on sync!

So I did, and in 2018 and 2019, I was able to generate ~$10,000/year from TV placements next to having a full-time job.

Then, I decided to take a leap of faith. 🏃🏻‍♂️ I quit my job and went all-in on sync licensing. Having worked for a sync licensing company for several years, I was convinced I could scale this to bigger numbers. 

It paid off! 

  • In 2020, I 5x'd my revenue and made close to $50k from royalty checks coming in every quarter

But this was only the beginning… 

Since then, I’ve grown to over 6-figures getting over 10,000 placements in TV shows, commercials, and other visual media. 

I turned my music catalog into a profitable truly-passive revenue stream by getting my music in shows like Rythm & Flow, Fortnite, Netflix, and hundreds of networks across the globe.
